Insights & results

What we did, and what it surfaced.

Short accounts of live work, written for the insight rather than the activity. Clients are described by type unless they've asked to be named.

Data Dialogue · a national research institute

Years of research, opened up as a conversation the public could put questions to.

What we did. We turned a large published body of work into something people could interrogate directly, in their own words.

What surfaced. The questions clustered around cost and fairness, not the science. The institute now leads with that.

Civic Education · NZ arm of an international NGO

Teaching young people what an election is — and asking what they made of it.

What we did. An age-appropriate conversation about how democratic elections work, delivered at scale through the NGO's existing programmes.

What surfaced. Confusion gave way to specific, answerable questions. Those became the next version of the material.
